Happy Independence Day

It’s Finding Me Friday and the day our nation celebrates its 249th year of independence from Great Britain. It was on July 4, 1776, that the then thirteen States of America united for democracy. Let us not forget what our ancestors fought to create - life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness - led by a government of the people, by the people, for the people.

As artists, our creative independence lets us explore the essence of who we are as people. It provides us with a platform to call out injustices. It brands movements for change. It reminds us of what is right and what is wrong. It stands the test of time.

On this July 4, 2025, may we find solidarity in what bonds us as humans, and never forget that love, kindness, and peace are the way forward.
